Hikari - A very manly girl.

OK, so I have been using avatars/sigs that have been more male-looking than female, and here's an odd reason why.
The reason I became a "manly girl" as far as the internet is concerned was because I remember participating in my first Gender Race in Other Trivia around early 2012, and after a hard-fought fight I ended up losing to the men. As a result, I felt like I had to adapt to their techniques and looks by having all these random male-looking avatars/sigs (and oh god that iconic sig of mine with the Connect Four pulled it up a level, and I still don't get why everyone laughs at it) and eventually me ditching my Oshawott profile for a more manlier grayscale hue.
Heck I'm even displaying my gender as "male" right now, but in case if you were wondering, I am actually female. It's even true in reality, I'm not a stereotypical girly girl but a full-on tomboy. One of my interests, as my profile says is satirical comedy, which is often very very manly.
I have to say this sorta allowed me to interact better and get attention. As Mid says, if you're a manly tomboy of an Oshawott like me you know I've got something funny about me.
