I just finished catching up on Best Wishes.
Seventy-five episodes in four days, guys.
That was fun. And a lot easier than I expected? I didn't have to force myself to keep watching at all. I started at Reunion Battles In Nimbasa because I remembered I had sort of dropped off watching during that particular tournament but as I watched each ep I found out I had watched well past where I had thought. Also! I watched all that dubbed this time. Which was not actually that appalling. I still much prefer the energy and sense of presence the Japanese script and Mamoru Miyano's performance give to Dent, though. And I was glad to get back to watching the show with subs. And then without subs. Because the subbers are like six episodes behind at the moment. Which is pretty okay, actually. I don't even have to concentrate much to know the basics of what's happening. I will be glad when I can actually understand a lot of the important speeches though.
There was a point where I was considering going all the way back to Kanto and watching from the beginning, but I don't think that would be such a good idea. Maybe once a month I'll marathon a season or something. As long as I don't get to the point where I'm forcing myself to watch it. And also I kind of want to hold onto my attachment to the Unova group for a while. If I go watch a different era, it'll mess with all the feelings energy that needs to dissipate on its own. I just spent four days constantly with these characters and they've kind of taken over. :3

On top of that, the green supporter colors would make any Cilan theme look perfect on any Supporter!
