When Sick, Play Pokémon

As some of you know, for the past few days now I haven't been feeling well. I must have gotten too close to some Kryptonite or something, I don't know. Spending so much time in bed lately, I've been continuing my playthrough of White 2 from where I left off last.
I know, I know. "What in the world, Shivi!? It's been two weeks since then and you're now in Driftveil City?" To explain, I don't really have much intention on restarting this file after I've completed it, so I'm taking my time with it. Truthfully, a lot of my time playing is spent talking to every new NPC I meet, trying to catch every Pokémon located in each habitat on the PokéDex, and grinding just a few levels higher than need be. Here's my progress currently:

Not to sound too proud, but this has literally been one of the best teams I've used in-game in the longest while. I find it hard to say who's the weakest link and who's the main powerhouse of the group. Each of of my team members seem to hold their end really well. Which is great, because a lot of their movesets still need improving upon.
I do have to comment on my Skill Link Cincinno though. I have to admit, when Geoff (Morkula) told me about how it was one of his powerhouses in his latest playthrough of White, I questioned it a bit. Actually using it now, I'm kind of scared by how strong it really is. Skill Link + Tail Slap + Stab + your occasional Critical Hit is a killer combination! It definitely helps that I kept on soft resetting for an Adamant Nature Mincinno too.
Oh, and I can finally say I've experienced my first few Critical Captures while playing! All through my numerous playthroughs of Pokémon White I never once got lucky with a Critical Capture... until now.
Well, until next time!
Apologies to my X&Y regulars for not being as present in the forum lately other than the occasional few posts and doing mod work. Being sick is no fun, but I'm happy to report I'm definitely starting to clear up. As a fun tease, expect something coming up in the forum around the new season.

@MidnightShine Nah, lucky would have been getting Adamant the first time instead of SR'ing I can't remember how many times.
@Nica I honestly didn't try too hard when it came to what natures I got, except for Skill Link Mincinno. Haha!
@Syd You give wonderful advice! And yes, they are all so fierce. Each and every one of them.
@Hikari Thank you! Yes, more love for Leafeon. 'Tis my second favorite Eeveelution after Umbreon.Posted March 8th, 2013 at 04:52 AM by Aerilyn
