Another day in the PC life of Pachy...
Yesterday I was browsing the index lazily and I found this thread.
Upon clicking on it and entering the thread I was fairly giddy. "Ooh, this has a poll", I thought as the page loaded slowly even for my connection. The page loads, and I scroll down to see the dreaded message from the system..."You have already voted on this poll"
"NO WAY" I cry out dramatically, knowing all the well that there must be something certainly broken about PC. Frantically I click the votes page, hoping the votes listed on the post will reassure me that it's just a glitch. A weird glitch, but at the time I certainly couldn't help the feeling!
The page loads slowly, the seconds dragging on like hours as I agonize slowly over things and questioning how or why there could possibly be a thread I had already voted on despite being gone for 2 years.
A terrifying thought crossed my mind..."What if I had been hacked?"
The page finally loaded. I quickly, eager with curiosity burning brightly, scan the list for my username and find it. My heart sinks a few feet down into my stomach for a moment, and then I quickly decide to try the first page of the thread. "Surely this thread CAN'T be THAT OLD!" I reasoned as the page loads, this time a little bit more quickly as I am somewhat hopeful I can prove some critical glitch.
The page loads and I scan the top of the postbit for the date information, quickly parsing and ignoring the useless bits, until I reach the date and read it. I then read it again. My heart sinks down to my ankles, and an epic facepalm moment is had. Old thread is really that old.
Soon after, PC simply quits loading...dumping me to that dreaded Cloudflare page in the sky. A modicum of hope returns to me as I think to myself "Maybe it was a glitch, or perhaps even a ghost of the past"
Will the wonders of PC ever cease to amaze? Find out next time when I blog some more!!!

OH WAIT THIS IS IN MY SECTION lemme explain okay so when i modded b/w alone i revived older threads to bring life into the section, that thread was one of those older threads!!
