Bargain Hunt = Success!

So for awhile now I've wanted to get a laptop. Mainly for study purposes, but also so I can play a few of my favourite games without having to deal with a bucketful of errors. I also really needed one for uni next week (which I'm getting increasingly more nervous about). Anyway, I finally decided to purchase one on...I think it was Saturday and I've got to say that I'm pretty pleased with it. I'm not a nerd when it comes to computers, so I had to do a quite a bit of research. Some suggested I get a Macbook, others a Vivo book, but in the end I decided to buy a laptop that I liked, which was an Acer Aspire s7! It's my precious at the moment (+1 for Lord Of The Rings reference there); it also smashes my desktop computer out of the park in terms of speed and graphics.
Being the end of the financial year here (not sure if it's the same/similar worldwide,) I was able to get it at a reduced price. It was originally $1900+, but was knocked down to $1754. That wasn't enough for me though haha, I was willing to pay around $1400-$1500. I bartered with them and surprisingly got t down to around $1575. I also bought a laptop bag which was 30% off, and the laptop itself came with a wireless mouse and protective case which was cool. Luckily the mouse isn't the ones where you have to have a usb stick hog one of your ports to work.
The specs of the laptop are:
- 4GB RAM
- 64-bit Operating System
- Full Windows Touch Support with 10 Touch Points
- i7 Intel Core
- 13" Touchscreen with 10 touch points
- Turquoise back lit keyboard
- Soft touch pad
- Extremely fast
- Super thin
- Minimalistic but stylish design
- Noise of the fans (a little loud)
- Depth of the keys (feels like the keyboard is a little unresponsive at times.)
