I don't know what it is, but after watching the first episode of this anime I just grew onto it. I've found myself constantly talking about The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, so before I get told to "Shut Up!" I just decided to yield it all here in a blog.

However, I've watched the entire first season, started the second, and now I'm rerunning through the first season again in a different order thanks to Arcanine [PC Staff Admin]. I don't know, but I'm obsessed with the anime now.

It is such a strange anime though with no basic plot, but separate episodes all doing something with the SOS Brigade. I find myself always laughing at Yuki, I always seem to look up to Kyon and his way of thought, and so forth. Gosh, such an amazing episode and if you haven't seen it as yet, you just may want to!

This is just the start of me opening up to other anime series, I think next may be Death Note as I've heard some great things about it, but we'll see. If you know any, please feel free to tell and maybe I'll look into it.

Haruhi is a great series. Have they dubbed the second season into English yet? Or is it just Japanese still?

Heh, there have been mixed reviews about Haruhi, as I've noticed :3

Anyways, it isn't a half bad series, though I've only seen the *technical* first episode.

'Cause you do know the lineup they were broadcasted in was screwed up, and that the technical first episode was actually the third episode or something, right? This was at least for the first season; can't say anything about the second. They even show you the actual and broadcasted lineups on Wiki if you want to compare them :X

OK, OK, I'll shut up now >.> Mikuru and Yuki ftw

It still happens to be in Japanese. The second season is only out with two episodes so far and I had to watch it with English Subs, but the anime has still kept the flow of things.

Ha Ha, yeah I watched it the first time all in the set chronological order. However, this time around I'm doing it differently, so we'll see how that goes. However, yes Mikuru and volleyballs! [/lol]

This was one epic anime I've ever watched before. My favorite character would be Haruhi; very energetic. Even though Yuki is a serious person in the anime, she really makes me laugh. Mikuru is alright, but meh, I don't like her to be with Kyon whatsoever! xD;

Anyways, it is an awesome anime and I too, would recommend anyone to watch it.

Not to go off-topic but after forever I found the 45 rpm HHY single and some guy beats me to the place.

I'm going into emo mode for a day.

I don't know but at least I cannot be classified for being too late on the second season of the anime.

It's true, the anime just has a way of sucking you in and making you interested in it. Although there isn't any basic plot (other than trying to keep Haruhi from being bored) I found it very entertaining. My favorite characters had to be Yuki and Kyon. Yuki just because of the way she acts, it's just funny to me, especially the videogame episode, where she actually wants to win. And Kyon because of his responses to all the crazy things happening around him and his thoughts.

Both Haruhi and Death Note are great, you should definitely watch Death Note, too
