New Battle Frontier is "SUPER SPECIAL AWESOME"

(Unneeded formality: The phrase used in the subject here only suggests that I'm a fan of Yu-Gi-Oh The Abridged Series. I'm not connected to LittleKuriboh in any way.)

So, I think it's time to make posts with coverage about the new Battle Frontier in Pocket Monsters Platinum. But for now, I'll present my thoughts on each facility.

Battle Tower: Yawn. This is the standard drill - quite similar as it was in Diamond and Pearl. Oh, but it isn't as horrible an experience - the lag time in battles is gone, so this will go smoother.

Battle Factory: It's actually a bit more difficult compared to Emerald. D:

Battle Stage: This place is odd. Doesn't stop it from being interesting though - picking the type you want to battle is nice. The fact you can only have 1 Pokémon in single battle mode and that it ends when fainted immediately is a little evil. Stay away from picking types higher in number - you'll pick up mixed-type Pokémon that could potentially knock you out fast.

Battle Roulette: Daria is one awesome-looking Frontier Brain. Also, the roulette can be your best friend or worst enemy, as it will determine the battle conditions for your next battle - you can get items, get hit by thunder wave (and hence your entire team is paralyzed), and other things pre-battle.

Battle Castle: I'm actually trying this out now.

Also, the music used is very nice. Better than Emerald's additions. :D

Well of course there is. The Battle Zone music is still there (but subtly changed) and the new battle areas (besides the Battle Tower) have all-new tracks.

I love the new music, really. I just listened to it alone, instead of spoiling the battles and scenes. Can't wait to play these though, they seem like a bunch of fun.

That music is ripped from an app that reads DS music from the ROM file.

And the program isn't entirely accurate. I can provide much better rips. :D
