Moving... I think.

So, I've been a little distant lately - and I've been trying, albeit badly, to cover it up. Guess I should explain why I've been a little different these past few weeks...
For one, I'm moving. I've told many of you this, and that should come as to no surprise. I don't mind moving, in fact, I enjoy the change of scenery. However, it's a bit more complicated than that this time around. You see, I have to be out of the apartment by Friday... and I don't know where I'm going.
I've already paid for a dorm room come this August, and I'll be moving there in a little bit less than a month, but my mother and I never did quite figure out where I, but mostly she, was going to stay until then. We would both love to stay in the apartment I'm currently typing this from, but they raised the prices and we can no longer afford it. She tried finding new apartments, but her credit is a little bit less than acceptable - most apartments denied her bluntly. Thankfully, she was able to get into one apartment, but upon actually visiting the place... I was literally frightened to get out of the car. Now I'm not a pushover, I could hold my own in a place like that, but I fear for my mom when it comes time I leave for college; I just don't want her in an unsafe place like that.
The only other option we could come up with was for her to get a one-bedroom apartment here in the complex we currently live in, and I could move in with my father until college. I wouldn't mind this option at all, but it's very unlikely they'll have any apartments available for her.
Point is, I have to be out of this place by midnight Saturday, and I don't know where I'm going. I don't know what I'm going to do, and I'm not sure if I'm going to have internet for a while. Frankly, I'm out of ideas and I'm desperate. If you can relate to my situation, or you have some ideas... I'd love to hear it. For now, I'm just going to have to march into the darkness.
