Sucks to be me.

Yeah. Another rant. More of a breakdown of why my life sucks at the moment. I'M NOT FISHING FOR SYMPATHY BY THE WAY. I'M JUST RANTING.

- Paranoia. In my mind, I am the most hated person in the world.
- The person I like likes my best friend.
- My parents prefer my Sister over me.
- I keep telling myself I'm not slef harming, but I know I am.
- Half my friends don't really like me.
- I got beat up, and now I'm scared they'll find me again. I know one of them knows where I live.
- I'm emotionally unstable. I know I'm slowly breaking myself down. I keep crying when I'm on my own, and I don't know why. And I'm having major mood swings.
- I don't know my own personality. I have no idea who I really am. I'm taking little bits from everyone elses personalitys, so I'm a mixture of all of them.
- I don't have the balls to tell people what I think of them to their face, even if I say I do.
- I keep saying I don't care what people think of me, that only applies to people I don't know. I really care about what my friends think of me.
- I'm becoming happy less often.
- I can't sleep, I'm too stressed.
Yeah. A list of why my life is pathetic.

Have you considered seeing a counselor? Even if you don't want advice, it's always good to have someone who will listen to you.

The problem lies within you, really: You continuously put yourself down, which then makes all the bad things happen to you. One time, you should say something good about yourself. Tell yourself one of your good qualities. Look in the mirror when you do so. Give this method a bit of time. Perhaps even change your self image while doing so.

If this doesn't work, see a therapist.

Trust me, there are many, many, many people out there who have it way worse than you.

SL, although what you said wasn't generally negative, you didn't have to add that end bit, kind of spoils the nicety of your message.

Anxiety, i don't actually know you, but I do know how you're feeling, I was pretty much the same a few years back. From my experience I found taking a break from everything helped, getting to know myself a bit etc etc. I wouldn't worry about the people who beat you up, chances are they won't do it again, and if they do, just go to the police. A lot of the problems you're having spawn from the paranoia, which sadly is the hardest thing to get rid of, but as Vendak suggested, try seeing a councilor, it can really help.

    best of luck

I use to be, and get spurts of what your going through.

The best way I have found to get through it is to not hold all of it in. Find something to take your aggression out on, preferably something that is not living. Take a shovel out, and go beat the crap out of the ground.

I know that you may not have the "balls" to tell someone what you think, but just do it once, to see how it feels.

Remember there are lots of people on the earth, don't let a couple bring you down.

Oh and for the getting beat up part, three words, "Call the police."

Beating up someone is ********, I don't put up with that, and neither should you.

I know that they will call you a tattletale, BUT, if they keep their crap up, you can get a restraining order against them, then if they do it again, they go to jail.

The system has its advantages, use them. :)

    Hope all gets better.

P.S. if you want someone to talk to; hit me up.

Just as I thought, you always have something negative to say about me~ You interpreted it the wrong way, obviously, as I wasn't implying him not to rant about it. Ranting is fine; I know it helps.

I still don't see how telling him that other people have it worse is negative/would make it feel worse about the whole thing.

Life is 10% of what happens to you and 90% how you react.

If half your friends don't like you then they aren't you friends. All cats are liars, said the cat.

Because when someone tells you that other people have it worse, you might as well say "Your problem is not important."

I know what it fells like for people to tell you that, I'm speaking from experience, telling someone that the problem is trivial is like a swift kick to the groin.

Their problem may not seem like much to you, but to them it is everything, their whole existence, or at least that is what it fells like.

(I'm not taking sides here either, just pointing something out.)

    Thanks guys.

I know some people have it worse than I do, but that doesn't make me feel any better about my life.

And I would go to therapy, or to a Counselor, but here's the thing, I really dislike telling people my problems, even if it'll make me feel better. I have trouble opening up to people. Plus, I don't want my parents finding out, so I wouldn't be able to get there, and I don't know any Therapists in my area.
