First, I got my friend to return and repost her fan fiction on PC again. If all goes well, it just might motivate me to continue mine again (reviving a year-old-plus thread, but in the Fan Fiction section, I can do that

Some of you might have heard me mention my recent conundrum to you via PM or VM, but I ordered a DS Lite from a seller on Amazon Marketplace (my old one had a busted charger, a busted hinge, and a battery that wouldn't hold a charge, and everything went wrong with it after leaving school for the summer) and apparently it was never shipped out. I recently went ahead and bought one at the local GameStop. Well, I've just been informed by Amazon that my claim went through and I can be expecting a refund. Yay for me XD
My first anime convention is (hopefully) coming up in January! Ichiban-Con, a first-time con, is set to happen in Concord, NC, which is not far from my school. It's a bit worrisome that the con staff is VERY slow at updating their web site (registration costs aren't even published yet:/), but apparently they've gotten Vic Mignogna and Wendy Powell to be guests. I'm stoked about this, but I'm not sure if I'm gonna cosplay. If I do, I need some ideas, and I turn to you, the PC faithful, for your suggestions
Finally, if you see this woman today:
wish her a happy 61st birthday! Then call the US Marshals and get her thrown in jail. Rebecca S. Parrett is wanted for her role in a multi-billion dollar fraud scheme involving the healthcare finance company National Century Financial Enterprises, of which she was co-founder and former executive. When captured, she faces 25 years in federal prison. Parrett has been on the run since March of 2008. She may be using the last names Green, Ayers, House, Robinson, Mayes, or Kunzi. She is 5'0", 120lbs. , and has blue eyes and blond hair, though it may be dyed. She owns property in Ohio and Arizona, but has traveled extensively abroad. Rebecca Parrett is believed to possess significant financial resources.
