Continuing from the dramatic introduction of a murder from the past.
Alter Ego says:
a girl with longstanding history of paranoia and psychological disorders who also received a poor grade for this particular paper
in fact
she received an *F*
And as an interesting wrinkle
the perfume in question
was also favored by her
Hobo Luke says:
Ah yes
You were dating her at the time correct?
You in fact were the star witness in this trial
"EVIDENCE BEFORE LOVE: YOUNG LAW STUDENT BETRAYS HIS BEAU FOR THE SAKE OF JUSTICE"
Alter Ego says:
*tosses head back*
The *love* was purely in her deluded head
I already had a case pending for a restraining order after she began pestering me for photographs
but yes, being the naive fool that I was, I made the mistake of briefly indulging her illusion of being accepted
That little hint of indulgence ended the moment I learned of her true nature, however

I believe I requested
CONCRETE EVIDENCE linking me, or indeed *anyone* besides the defendant, to the current crime
the defendant has already testified to placing the poison in her father's drink
and regardless of motive, that makes her a murderer!

so when I heard of Alter's possible involvement in a poisoning case, I had my mother's remains exhumed
and tested for the poison

THE EXACT POISON USED IN THE MURDER OF THE STUDENT, THE PROFESSOR, THE SEVEN MENTAL PATIENTS, and THE VICTIM IN THIS MURDER
