Nuzlocke

Huh. Rosario+Vampire. Guess someone's a fan and felt like playing a prank. XD; I was perplexed for a few minutes and then laughed. I wasn't aware other people could tag my entries. >_>;

I've embarked upon a new Nuzlocke challenge, since working on my HDD is giving me a headache. :3 I hacked it so I'd have a Delibird early-on though for kicks and giggles. Seriously, Delibird is so cute, albeit in an eccentric way. So unappreciated D:

I just got to Oreburgh City, and my team is:

Delibird Lv. 9
Chimchar Lv. 12
Shinx Lv. 9
Zubat Lv. 8

:3! I need to train for Roark, though. Roark's highest-level Pokémon is a lv. 14 Cranidos, which means I can evolve Chimchar. Whew~! It's important so that I can get Fighting STAB to hit those Rock-types super effectively. Monferno gets Mach Punch (well, it gets Rock Smash by HM, but meh) at lv. 14, but it's only 40 Base Power (so is R. Smash), so I really need the STAB to hope to break through their defenses. Poor Delibird will have to sit this one out, since Onix and Geodude Stealth Rock, and it's 4x weak to Rock Throw.

I hope none of my Pokémon die ;_;! I named the top three after extremely cute users I know from another site, and it'd break my heart. I had a close call earlier. Two. First, Delibird got crit, but it survived with a sliver of HP. Secondly, Delibird's Present missed thrice in a row (since it's a Hustle Delibird). I was debating whether to switch to Chimchar or not, because the opposing Budew was setting up Growths, but I Presented anyways, and what do you know? It crit. :D

Eh... Before I abandoned my HGSS run due to boredom, I was writing a fanfic retelling of it. I still have the notes with a turn by turn breakdown of important battles and event logging, since I hand-wrote those. I wonder if I should resume it? I haven't played HGSS in awhile, and it was pretty fun to write. Some people asked me to keep going too, but hey. Laziness is my dictator.
