Ice Cream Beat will the be the death of me.

It's so bad that I want to bash my head against the wall in the tune of It's A Small World, but BBS would probably still consider it off-beat and fail me. sgfdbfsgbfavdsafdsa--
*coughs*
So! Few weeks back, my roommate got me a PSP and Birth By Sleep as part paying his half of the bills (he owed me quite a bit at this point), part early Christmas present, part "screw NaNoWriMo" (which is funny because I beat NaNo the day I got it, lol). Long story short, I didn't actually touch it until last week, when I was going to need it for a long car ride to Wisconsin.
Me, not realizing there was a suggested order to what characters to play as being the total rebel that I am, started out with Ven. And all was well until I hit Disney Town.
I CANNOT BEAT ICE CREAM BEAT. T_______T It should be so simple but I cannot figure out for the life of me when I'm supposed to hit the X button, and nothing that I've found so far has helped in that department. And I can't do anything else in the storyline until I do because I've beaten the rest of the worlds I can access.
WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYY? *shakes fist at the sky*
The only good news is that the more I play this game, the higher my score gets. Slowly. I just got 371 and I'm all like "hell yeah I'm gonna do it! After 50 more tries!"
