Pokémon Battle Revolution and My Pokémon Ranch, oh how I loathe both of you games.
BOTH games have a horrible wall of text before you can go do anything. Start up Revolution and a certain skank who tries to be helpful and guide you, and only manages to make you rage as she explains the ENTIRE GAME in a WALL OF TEXT. Oh, and Battle Revolution itself turned out to be a load of crap anyway. Ms. Desk Skank, using your own words, "I hope you have a wonderful time in hell."
My Pokémon Ranch (and its uglier-in-America fisherprice-style logo) are something else entirely. Every time you launch the game Hayley sees fit to yap and yap and yap in a wall of text that forces you to press A constantly. "We've expanded and have space for ** Pokémon now!" "Also guess what?" "Hello!" "What do you think tomorrow's Pokémon will be?" Question, Hayley, WHY DID I BUY THIS AWFUL THING? ALSO YOU'RE UGLY AS SIN (but your Sugimori art is ♥) AND SO ARE THE POKéMON in the game. Also, if I were to erase my Pokémon game and start over, why is it that my Pokémon are forced to stay at your ugly ranch? What a waste of points.
If the next Pokémon Wii game doesn't integrate Pokémon storage (that allows you to store them and transfer to another game), battling, game customisation and mini-games back into one fun line of gaming then well… that'd be pretty sad.

You mean Pokemon Battle Revolution Stadium? Yeah I think that's the whole point to this new Wii game.Posted September 26th, 2009 at 12:02 PM by Mitchman

Ranch is kinda fun at times, personally (and PBR if you just use online and enjoy it for that, I suppose?), but have to agree with you - wall of texts and all = bleh. Hayley in particular = jhhhfdshchbsiclds. She manages to get you to hate her in the opening cut-scene!
But it does make throwing bombs at her all the more fun. =P
Lack of being able to trade to other save files and Platinum/HG/SS is also bleugh, hopefully they give us a darn update that fixes all of the above when HG/SS comes out... idk about the art style though, it's pretty neat IMO if rather... different. (And you can get some amusing entertainment out of it as well, heh).
I want a Pokemon Shadow sequel that fixed what was wrong with the previous ones and has more Miror B. =( Actually, scrap that, and make a Miror B themed game. XDPosted September 26th, 2009 at 12:21 PM by bobandbill

In the smaller picture, that doesn't give The Pokémon Company's developers money; that gives Nintendo money.Posted September 26th, 2009 at 11:04 PM by Hiroshi Sotomura
