Sad news, bro. #pokenerdsunite

Guys, I have... I have some bad news. A Pokemon I have is not with us anymore. She's passed away. She's gone.
On March 4th, at 3:55 PM EST, I was on Victory Road and spotted my very first shiny Pokemon in my SoulSilver version. It was a lovely, golden Onix, sparkling in the moonlight coming from the exit just a few steps away. It was beautiful. The moment I saw it, I saw what it could be: an even more stunning golden Steelix - my favorite (next to Kingdra) Generation II Pokemon. It was that very moment I knew that it would be mine.
Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end. I intended to migrate it over to my White version, but that would not be. When I finally beat the game just yesterday, after many playthroughs and deciding that that would be the last one, I went to get my SoulSilver version to discover something tragic. I couldn't find it, and I couldn't find my DS.
I searched and scourered the house, destroying everything in my path in panic and - eventually - rage. It was gone. My SoulSilver with my one and only shiny Pokemon ever... was gone. What happened to it? Well, I didn't have to wonder far. My dick of a brother traded it in!!!!!!!!!!

Oh my god that sucks.
The hell is wrong with your brother, anyway. I assume this is another thing he took without permission. ~_~ Your next paycheque needs to go toward a safe, seriously. :/ You can buy small ones that you can set your own code for for a fairly decent price, I think. You live with idiot brothers. I would shun anyone that sold my games, or my anything for that matter. It's not their property, they didn't pay for it, they didn't enjoy it, it's not their place to sell it. You poor baby. :( Erica is right though. Oh that sucks really bad. This is the main reason I was such an "bad brother" [As my mom puts it] because I kept hiding my Pokemon Games and not "sharing" them with my little sisters. I already experienced getting my saved file deleted with Sapphire and being thrown away from the Pokemon fandom from 2004-2007 due to that experience and didn't want it to happen again.
Yu know what the **** happened? Mom took away HeartGold, Diamond and Platinum committing mass genocide from a huge chunk of the part of my time as PokeNerd. ;___;Posted May 22nd, 2012 at 05:31 AM by Netto Azure

I'm lucky to have such a nice family after re-reading this blog and reading Netto's reply lol. My brother and sister never played my games, never borrowed them, or anything. And it wasn't from lack of interest either. Probably cause they were smart enough to realize if they wanted it, they could ask for it for their birthday or save up and buy their own. They're so nice!!! And we'd trade Pokemon in the games and the cards and battle both on the weekends. :) Good stuff I TAUGHT THEM ALL THEY KNOW!!

After my brother and I had to share Pokemon Red, we never shared a Pokemon game again. XD; We always got opposite versions or else he'd skip out entirely.
We respect each other's things immensely and honestly, we share most of our games anyway, so he'd never do this kind of thing to me. :c We're also really close, though. He's actually pretty chill about letting me restart his games when I don't wanna restart mine so... I'm pretty content with that.
