my future plan.

who wants to hear about my future. n__n
So as you all know (or whoever took the time to read my audition blog) I have been accepted into my performing arts program yadda yadda yadda.
Anyway; today my family and I were talking about mine and my brothers futures. He wants to teach Graphics at a University and when it came to me I was sure that I wanted to be an actor, which is one of the most unrealistic futures of them all. So I started to think of something else to perhaps look into on the side. So whilst I reading some magazines like Gamesmaster from like idk 2008? And some Heat etc I realized that it would be quite interesting to do something like this. i.e a Journalist. So I looked into it. Turns out there's a British College of Journalism which I immediately looked into it. It's only for freelance journalists but that made me more interested, tbh. So after reading about it on the site it sounded really interesting. And since it doesn't require going to an actual school I could apply. I looked at the costs and saw that they were flexible with how they paid. It's £410 for a 24 week course. They must take at least £110 from you to secure a place but then the rest can be taken in monthly payments, such as £50 a month n______n Which I could surely muster up if I got a job, which is the first thing on my list starting next week. The best thing is the tutor you're given is someone who has experience in your area of work, (I'm wanting to do Entertainment/Music, y'know that area, or maybe reviews, I have time) and what's even better than that is the college will stay with you until you have your first publish (and your first cheque!) I think I'll probably start this around January next year once I've spoken to my Mum about it, who supports any decision I want in my future. She supported me when I wanted to be a train so... You also don't need any writing qualifications to do it. (I have my English, but nothing else such as creative writing etc). So there's a paragraph about my future plans as (hopefully!) a freelance journalist. And if that doesn't work, I've always got acting which apparently I'm gifted at (according to my soon-to-be college tutor but eh).

I actually took Journalism class in school! It was a blast going around and writing stories and getting interviews! Why not go out for a job in one of them big fancy magazines? LIKE VOGUE? OR MARIE CLAIRE? 8DDDD Acting would be cool as heck, but think of all the fashion shows and movie premiers you'd get to go to just so you can write a review on them!

Journalism sounds cool, but I still think being a teacher's a better career. Winterr breaks and summers off? Hell yeah~!
