So yea, I haven't really been on much recently. I started uni three weeks ago so that's been taking up a lot of my time. My modules are pretty awesome right now though, two of them are teaching based so one is just us studying the curriculum and the other is how to conduct yourself in a professional way.
The other two right now are really easy too, one is basically graphic design so we're making a website and a magazine. It's really easy for me but wow does it take a lot of time. I've already spent a good 10 hours just on layouts over the past two days ._. The other is information system analysis, which is what I did for my second year project in college so it'll be piss easy. Plus it's a group module so yay for not having to do it all myself!
Another thing that has been taking up my time is the fact that I'm living in halls, so I'm living with other students. There aren't any people from my exact course, but there are a lot of other teachers so I won't be the only one getting up at 6am for placement in a few months time! Oh, and I'm living in the same building as the american students. Most of my time sat in the common room now is spent teaching them how to speak english properly. You can't be doing an english module here and still spell colour as color! Plus you americans say your A's weird. It'd be man-chester, not mayun-chester ):
Also, one more thing cropped up too! About two weeks ago I got an abscess on my leg, which i basically like a lump that hurts like a bitch. So spent last weekend visiting home in the hospital getting it checked out :D They then decided to drain it, which involved cutting the thing that made me want to jab a pen in my eye open and pushing it till it went flat. It was so painful ;; but now it's gone down it's all good, they gave my antibiotics to stop it from getting bigger and eventually make it go away. Down side though is the pills sometimes make me throw up, which isn't a good thing when I have to sometimes take them in between classes. I don't think the teacher liked the fact I had to run out of the classroom to avoid throwing up all over the computer ):
So yea, pretty busy/sucky few weeks! Hopefully I can be back here more now that my leg doesn't feel like it has a burning poker in it :D

It's much better now thanks kura! :D
I ban you from ever setting foot on english soil >:(
It's not just the accent though, you all use weird words like here pants = underwear and trousers = things you wear on top of underwear. You all just say pants for trousers and it sounds weird when they don't use the right word >:Posted October 13th, 2012 at 01:42 PM by Hybrid Trainer
