I am totally confused.

The verb "go"...

The present form is "go". The future is "will go". Every other form as at least a "g" inside it. But suddenly...the past form is "went".

Not that he's been totally destroying my sanity with that for about half a year, but he is.

    Also, if the past form is "went", then what does that make "gone"?
