Love Letter to Japan

Posted October 27th, 2012 at 04:37 PM by Hiroshi Sotomura

Dear Nintendo,

Can you stop being so damn xenophobic? Can you also stop being inconsiderate of people travelling across the world with their game consoles? Travellers and their 3DS's aren't a niche market.

And can you stop making people wait for retail games to be available on the eShop? And why are people waiting so damn long for games like Animal Crossing to become available TWO WEEKS after showing off a really nice video of what's pretty clearly a finished game? Do your managers absolutely love making people wait?

i definitely agree. i hate region locks and such on the later handhelds like DSi and 3DS. it's just unnecessary. if the ds original and ds lite didn't have to have it, why do later models and the next generation have to have it? it seems like a step backwards. ffff.

I know how you feel Jake, the Japanese can be pretty silly when it comes to this.

And I agree with Syd, I hate region locks.
