Ok so basically my uni is doing a "school disco" type party where everyone dresses in shirts and their old school ties and such and they play old music that was played in old school discos, like YMCA and stuff. The guy who's planning it is in my class of about 30 people, and we also go to LGBT society together so we both at least know each other exist.
Like most uni things there's a facebook event for it, and a crap ton of people have been invited to it including people who aren't teaching students. The other day I saw that an american student who I live with, who studies psychology and is leaving before the event btw, replied to the event. So I went on the page to see if I should say I'm attending, and see that I was never sent an invite. Whilst scrolling through the invited members list I see that not only more people like the american student who won't be able to attend were invited, the university ducks were invited too.
I don't think I'll be going to the party anymore.
TL;DR Ducks get invited to more parties than I do.
