Up until today, I've never ever had to fully fend for myself. My mam is away in Birmingham for the weekend and I'm genuinely scared. I've never been left alone for the weekend before, and I don't just have myself to worry about - my two dogs need me too. I know this'll sound stupid to many people who already live by themselves, but it's so scary. This is basically a glimpse into what life would be like without the safety of family.

If anything, it'll be good for me. With a possibility of moving to London, Edinburgh or Glasgow in 2/3 years time, I really need to do a lot of growing up. Especially if I want to study Medicine.
