It saddens me somewhat when I hear stories from people who say that Christmas doesn't hold any special meaning for them anymore, idk. That either they've grown up, or something sad happened around that time, Christmas has never been important to them, etc. Naturally I'm excluding people who don't celebrate Christmas due to their religion or what not, by the way. Does anyone else feel some sort of negative emotion when they hear stories like these? Are you one of these people?
I just like to think, I guess, that Christmas will always have a special allure for people, that it's more than just another few days for them.

I wish I could sympathize more with you about this, but I'm one of those people who feels nothing for Christmas. But as a consolation prize I can tell you that I got to see a bunch of friends a few days after Xmas who I'd not been able to see for a while and it was a fun, warm, jolly gathering.Posted December 27th, 2012 at 05:56 PM by Scarf
