So, earlier, we had a small power outage or surge or something. And when I went to turn my computer back on, it did nothing. So now I have no computer. This really sucks. I'm able to keep around PC thanks to Internet Explorer on Xbox 360, and the browser on my phone thankfully. But now I'm gonna have to get a new computer. I hope you guys are having better days than me...

I meant like for laptops there is like a fusebox thing on some of the kettle leads.. I'm not sure if this is the same as the power supply in a PC but worth a shot.

Was your computer plugged into a surge protector? If it was then you should have someone look at your computer before you write it off. If it wasn't then you should still have someone look at it, but maybe not have your expectations too high.Posted January 29th, 2013 at 05:45 PM by Scarf

My computer is kinda crap anyway, so this would be a great opportunity to upgrade. But i still need to try and find a cord to test it. And yes, it is in a surge protector.
