Okay, so I'm filling out an application form to become a college SRC. (Student Representative Council). Basically, SRC's a school prefects. I was an SRC at primary school waaay back, and became a 7-9 Campus SRC in year 8 and 9, but I've never really been given a role of leadership. We never really did much to be honest, all the plans and ideas we generated never were executed. I'm not much of a leader, and...I think it's something I could definitely, and should definitely work on. My leadership skills are okay, but I think I'd really benefit being able to expand them through this opportunity. This year unlike last years, applications (around 200+) have to be sent in, and then around 10 or so successful applicants are chosen for interviews in front of the college panel. Through interviews, the 10 are chopped to 6. (The SRCs).
My only problem is I'm really nervous. I want this more than anything because it will give me the edge and boost of confidence I think I definitely need in order to socialise more and succeed in not just the study aspects of school. But...what do I put on my application? How do I start it? My thoughts of what I might put into my application are totally ambiguous at this stage.
Nevertheless, I'll work things out I suppose. AND on a good note too, I've began to play tennis regularly. Regularly being every second day or so. Even though I'm twig-thin, (but healthy!), the exercise will do me good. Considering I didn't do any beforehand.
I sincerely apologise if this was a boring blog, and I hope you have a great night everyone! (Or day, morning, dusk, dawn, afternoon etc) :p.

Ooo SRC :D, I think I've done it once when I was 6 or 7 @_@, that was ages ago. ;;. But yes the badges are cool. B). Back to the point however, well personally I think a good way to start out an application is just explain why you want to be an SRC, say how you could help the school as one etc., maybe even list some of the good qualities you have! :D. I'm not too good at this sort of thing, but I think those things are important :3.
And don't be too nervous :3, yeah your school is large @_@,I swear ours is half your size probably ;;. But have confidence and believe in yourself and I'm sure you'll get that awesome badge in to time. B)
But hopefully you get it dude! :D.Posted February 9th, 2013 at 06:55 AM by Rainbow Arcanine
