I Love You

Ah, February fourteen. It's the day where couples snuggle out in public, shoving public display of affection in our faces. It's the day where people buy fake roses and horrible-tasting chocolate for their lover. It's the day where every couple in the world express their love for one another, via cheap cardboard cards you can buy at the nearest bookstore.
In an eleven year old's eye, it may sound too mature and lovey-dovey, but for a girl who pretends she's ten years older than she really is, I think Valentines day is the best celebration of the year -- besides my birthday, that is.
This year, my Valentines date is my mom, but I'm secretly having an affair with my sister, haha. Normally, my mom wouldn't buy me a gift on a not-so-important holiday like today, but she gave me the 2005 novel I always wanted, Hannah's Hope by Karen Kingsbury, Toblerone, and chocolate chip cookies.
Now that I'm licking the remains of the delectable chocolates my mother gave me, how was your Valentines day?

For someone only being 11, as you always state, you sound sadly bitter about Valentines day. :c Let's shake that out of you!
Embrace that cheap cardboard; some of my favourite memories were getting those funny cartoon v-day cards in class. My love for you.. is over 9000!!!
My V-day I'm celebrating on the weekend.. so today is actually just filled with Work and then going home to do some vaccuuming/ tidying around the house. Exciting! Hahahaha! :3 But hey, it needs to be done!
