Need Music Recommendations (You Guys Will Be Doing Me a Favor, I swear to God)

I've been listening to the soundtrack to a LucasArts adventure game called The DIG lately. If no one has ever heard of the game, I suggest you go here and buy it off Steam as soon as possible or so help me God I WILL eat your firstborn. Okay, I'm kidding about that, but seriously, it's a beautiful game.

Anyway, I've been listening to Michael Land's composition for the game for a while and I want to know of similar sounding music out there that I can get into. Wikipedia describes it as New Age/Ambient, but it's got a space-themed symphonic/atmospheric element to it as well.

Here are a few tunes to get the idea of what I'm looking for:

Anyway, if you know of similar music, give me recommendations in the comments below. Thanks. No seriously, thanks.

It's kind of similar, but even more upbeat and badass!

Anything by either Two Steps From Hell, Immediate, Globus, or X-Ray Dog. Especially give 'To Glory' by Two Steps from Hell a listen.

Check out Nightwish. It's symphonic metal and I really enjoy it.

I agree with Livewire about Two Steps From Hell also. Even if I have bad memories with To Glory. Our crappy saxophone ditty that no one liked last season. lmao Cause no one listened to me!!

New age/ambient with space-themed symphonic/atmospheric elements? Let me throw a few things at you.

First try Worlds End Girlfriend. It's, well it's got electronic, ambience, atmospheric elements, maybe close to something you're looking for.

There's Matryoshka, which has a similar tone, if not really theme. Hammock sounds kinda similar to what you're listening to.

There are some kinda ambient-ish things from Ryuichi Sakamoto (who is also nice if you want something full of piano). There's another composer named Jóhann Jóhannsson who you might like.

Uh, maybe Ulrich Schnauss for something less dark, or Boards of Canada. How about some space-y post rock with God is an Astronaut?
