Welcome to my blog! I'm still in the process of re-doing it's theme (after not touching it in two years), but hopefully the result isn't horrible or anything. In any case, I'm not going to promise you that what you'll be reading would be entertaining all the time, but I'll do my best! I also don't blog that often becuase I don't really find many things to blog about in my life (it's kinda boring mind you, yeah, nothing really goes on much), but in any case, do check in here whenever I've made an entry, and if you don't mind, leave a comment in here if you'd like. ^^; That'd be awesome.

Community Day 10 at The PC Battle Server! It starts Saturday, June 1st at 8 AM EST and runs until midnight EST!

Let me tell you guys something: I feel that a lot of you guys don't know what you're missing out on. Do you want an active and engaging community? Do you want to find a community where it's fairly easy to fit in and easy to make friends, while at the same time building upon your battling skills? Well look no further, friends, because the Battle Server is here for your needs!

I know it's going to be a shocker when you first enter. It's probably going to be. Chances are fairly good--and I'll admit, I almost guarantee you'll probably feel out of place at first--but I feel that happens with everyone. Heck, take that from me of all people. I felt out of place when I first entered there, but I observed the conversations myself, I lurked, and then gradually, I joined them. And now I'm an active staff member of the server! You really don't know the kinds of people you'll meet and the friendships and bonds that you'll form, and I sincerely stress that any of you who have not tried the server yet will do so ASAP (just click the link above).

Even if you have zero battling experience, don't be shy! Start somewhere if you want to. All of us did. Personally speaking, I think I'm quite a ****** battler, but I still battle nonetheless. There's a certain thrill in it....winning or losing, you're glad that you at least gave it a shot, yeah? And that you can only really get better either way; by fixing up holes in your team or switching up Pokemon to cover up weaknesses. You'll learn all of that gradually. Competitive Pokemon isn't something that you'll learn overnight, people. It's something that takes weeks, months, and sometimes even years to really get to the nitty-gritty of, because metagames are always changing, Pokemon are shifting in tiers pretty often, and it'd be up to you on whether or not you want to keep up with all of that.

It does sound like quite a bit of work, but it's optional work. But most importantly of all, it's beneficial work. Smogon's Pokemon Dex is there and it's a resource for you to utilize. Not going to lie here guys; a lot of competitive Pokemon (if not a good majority of it) is pretty much self-taught. You have to teach yourself the metagame (aka tiers, the threats, and things of that nature), and teach yourself prediction strategies, and how to best utilize each and every single Pokemon to their maximum potential.

...But after all of that, it'll really pay off, and you'll be glad that you did it!

For those of you who are in it for the Community aspect, I highly applaud you, because the community here is like non-else. n_n Yes, we have periods of time where we're inactive, but it's up to you to change that! Once you lurk our server a lot, you'll notice that we're really crazy and pretty wacky. Just ask a lot of our regulars that go there currently. But more than anything else, we appreciate new people that join, because they bring about a different atmosphere to the chat, if anything. It's hard to explain, but with each new person that joins and becomes active, the server becomes better, and better, and better.

And who knows? Maybe you'll develop friendships that you never even knew were possible there. Just give it a shot, and hang around for a while, and see what happens, yeah?

But most importantly... (yes there is a good reason I'm bolding this!!!)

Don't forget Community Day 10! For those of you that don't know, Community Day is pretty much a bi-monthy kind of event that's held at the PC Battle server where tourneys (tournaments) of just about every single tier are played. So it doesn't matter whether you play the standard game of OU, or you're more of a low-tier player that tends towards UU/NU/RU, this Day is for everyone, so don't miss it! That being said, it is a community event, so especially come to chat your heads off, too!

That'll be all. Thank you all for taking the time to read this blog. n_n
