Yes, no, maybe so? And why? I'd like to get a good debate going, if possible.

Oh man. Commenting while watching, but this sort of paranoia is really familiar to me. I went through something like this in a previous relationship where I got worried they were interested in other people and started stalking people I was worried about and so on. It's a really immature thing to do too, and I know it so well right now. Though it's a massive problem with social media and angst riddled teens, relationships are difficult, but I think that social media, and letting silly things get to you due to it. It's not a good mixture, young adults/teenagers tied with "serious" relationships, along with immaturity and the confusion of lust instead of love. The end is really correct, Facebook and social media can make even the most sensible people really neurotic. It's a lesson I learned the hard way, and this video just explains it really well.

    Also fantastically made.

I really liked this. Really realistic, honest, and relatable. Only thing I don't get is that Chatroulette thing that happened, but I guess that's just because I've never gone on there.

This right here is precisely the kind of crap that has kept me tides away from social media for as long as I can remember. One year is all I spent on Facebook, and throughout that year I saw everything ranging form fights that were carried on to school to people actually going to jail because of it. There is no end to the jealousy and immaturity that lurks there, really. When no one is watching, human nature takes over. We envy and hate, and because we can, we make that as loud and clear as possible.

This is just one specific example, but to actually take a closer look at how dumb and arrogant people can be online, it would take oceans of ink. I'd been quite reluctant about my decision to stay away from social media, but this has just pinned the issue right to the center of the board for me.

The people who made that video deserve a medal.

It's interesting that you say that, as PC (and any forum) is a type of social media. From personal experience using social media, I've gotten out of it what I've put in.

This is true, but what I generally meant (my bad on that one) is the type of social media that connects you to people you already see and know in real life. People you interact with from day to day be it at school, work, friends or even family. It causes turmoil in personal relationships, and I've seen it happen so much it's not even funny.

Facebook and Twitter are like the home of online bullying.

I found this to be.. really sad for all participating parties. :( I get that there's supposed to be a happy ending and all but, idk, I see this more as warning than a love story. I don't have anything against social media personally, but I don't have a Facebook or Twitter or anything. Though I like to think that it comes from being a neutralist on the subject rather than a pessimist.

Nevertheless, I think a lot can be learned from this video. Good on ya!

The video brought me a few tears because I've been through the same thing, well the first half of the video anyways. It also brought be back to the past a bit as well. I was "broken up" by my boyfriend via Facebook and it was all due to pure jealousy. We both started our accounts together, added each other, and commented on each other's pictures. Then down the road, as I started to add my close friends irl and online, he started to become jealous because he wanted to be the one commenting on my pictures or my statuses first and not my friends/family. After the whole thing, I began to realize that facebook is a pure drama farm and people there will complain/whine/talk **** about every little thing you post about your life. And you know what, that random girl Noah found at chatroulette made a pretty good point there. Posting a facebook status about your grandmother's death...and generating 15 or so likes on facebook is just messed up in every way possible. To me it just implies that they are happy their grandmother died, and that's ****ing dumb.

Echoing Alexial and Gavin, a lot of lessons can be learned from this clip, and sometimes I wish I learned them sooner. Relationships nowadays can sometimes be invaded by facebook or social media and even if you're pretty careful, the signs are still there.

tl;dr: I really enjoyed the video, tbh. Very nicely done.
