i can't afford a diary, so this will have to do
n. the realization that each random passerby is living a life as vivid and complex as your own—populated with their own ambitions, friends, routines, worries and inherited craziness—an epic story that continues invisibly around you like an anthill sprawling deep underground, with elaborate passageways to thousands of other lives that you’ll never know existed, in which you might appear only once, as an extra sipping coffee in the background, as a blur of traffic passing on the highway, as a lighted window at dusk.

Looking pretty awesome
I think the Page is a bit too tall, though. Maybe the horizontal space could be put into good use, if you're willing to sacrifice a bit of image width.Posted April 7th, 2012 at 12:02 PM by ♪Twiggy♪

I think it's great! I think the only thing I don't like about it is that Dark Knight graphic that you have; I dont think it's as strong as your other work. Everything else is fantastic!! :333Posted April 6th, 2012 at 06:34 PM by Kura

Life, and our first world problems.
Follow your bliss. I know that sounds trite, but I think the best thing you can do is whatever makes you happy. And have the least regrets.
I hope you make a decision that makes you happy.Posted April 6th, 2012 at 03:09 AM by Scarf

Life, and our first world problems.
I'm honestly in a similar position to you. I'm heading to college in two years and I'm starting to apply to colleges, yest I don't know what exactly to do. I have a plan I'd like to follow, but up until last week it changed, and I'm kind of stuck in it. As for right now I'm just going to try to 'go with the flow' and see where that takes me, hopefully not to some place in the near future where I despise and end up regretting my life. I'm just now realizing what the quote "Life's a tricky game of fire" comes from and right now all I can do is try and not get burned.
I know that this isn't a helpful comment in any way, but, for myself I find comfort that others are in a similar situation, not for a bad reason, but just to feel like I'm not alone. Just go with whatever you desire, changes aren't all they're made out to be and they can go in a completely different direction, and not having a cushion is similar to bungee jumping, just without the cord, so be careful when you do and try to veer yourself around the rocks.
Wish you luck in your decisions!Posted April 5th, 2012 at 11:11 PM by Charizard★

:\ I really don't like it, in it's entirety. Conceptually, not aesthetically.
In short, for a portfolio website, I firmly think that images should take up the most space. Which by the way, are having difficulty loading at the moment. I also think that I should see a large feeling of your work at a glance, before I'm interesting in seeing them all in large formats.
While I know you're probably trying to show off your lovely graphic and web design skills, as a portfolio this should be about your work, which tells about you. I know you have links on the side, but scrolling down through them, I don't want to know about you or what work you do until I SEE the work first. You should really have them in different categories, as if I want your photography I don't want to be bothered to see your graphic design first.
Anyways, in what I personally think should be the first things in portfolio sites are
1. Give me all the work I want to see now
2. Give me all the work I want to see now and fast
3. THEN let me see the bigger pictures and grab some contact info
The name is cute. I'll never really remember it. Your portfolio, your name should be the biggest, because your name needs to be remembered.Posted April 5th, 2012 at 09:27 PM by Lornami

On your intro, maybe it would be better to take out "i do some work such as" and just leave it as "I do" or if you want to keep it that long then something like "I work in the areas of..." You don't want people to get the impression you're less than serious with words like "some."Posted April 5th, 2012 at 04:48 PM by Scarf

It's only noticeable when you scroll over some of the darker images, but you can see it pretty clearly in the screenshot.

@Andy If it's not loading in Firefox press ctrl + F5, to hard refresh. Or Command+Shift+R on a mac. It should load though, since I coded it on FF.
@Nick As for the whole IE thing, well, I don't know what I can do to fix it since I'm no expert with jquery.
@Lightning For the About part right? I'll do that thanks!
@Mom Seems fine to me. Could be my monitor... But screenshot?Posted April 5th, 2012 at 11:41 AM by Abnegation

I could nit pick harder, but the white/transparent gradient at the bottom of the page has a solid edge and doesn't match the top which has a soft edge.Posted April 5th, 2012 at 07:01 AM by moments.

Looks really nice! What I'd do is change the gaps between the speech bubbles if you're scrolling down since it seems sorta too large when you want to get to the information quicker, idk I get the point of the space, but I think it could work easier w/o the big space and just scrolling down. As well as this, possibly capitalise Skype? People might make impressions of it if it isn't completely formal imo. Either way, really professional and jealous of it tbh.Posted April 5th, 2012 at 12:59 AM by Forever
