hi I guess.
I know a lot of people who dropped HS to take the GED instead and they're some of the more successful people I know, haha. So long as you do get your degree in the end, I don't think it's a big deal. You can sorta fast-track it if you go for the GED instead too, right?

If they ask you again you should just say "I'm free to like what I want, don't be judgin'" cause seriously that's all you need to say ;3Posted January 13th, 2012 at 12:00 AM by Kura

Bronies are the odd combination of weeaboos and special snowflakes. "I watch pony cartoons. I'm such a brony. Everyone should watch ponies. All hail glorious Faust!" "Yeah, I'm a guy who watches ponies. And I'm not gay. Got a problem?" A person can enjoy a show/medium regardless of these characters and without giving themselves a title such as "brony" as if watching cartoons is some great accomplishment that only enlightened people can achieve. Not so much for a person who wants to get into the show/medium in the first place. If a fandom is vocal enough, like weeaboos and the Homestuck fandom, it can really deter people who might've been legitimately interested due to their "better than thou" attitude.Posted January 12th, 2012 at 07:20 PM by jpp8

Oh lol. people getting put off because of the fanbase. That's why I never pay attention to fanbases anymore, and I just get interested in what I find interesting. I should have done it earlier, since I got back into one of the things that I pushed away because of fanbase, and well as people's opinions.
But that's just me. :'D
As for Rarity and RD I said something about this topic in the fanclub, so I'm not going to bother with it here.Posted January 12th, 2012 at 06:25 PM by BinaryPeaches

...From what I've read and seen, both Rarity AND RD have definitely shown their elements more than what you just said. I can't vouch for RD so much but I can for Rarity, thanks to someone who plays her rather well. In fact, from what I've heard RD is quite the jerk (especially in that animal episode in second season) and so I can't see her being loyal so much as I can see Rarity being generous.
But hey, I've only seen 10 episodes and read even fewer summaries/opinions from my friends about the episodes. Not to mention I love Rarity (and despise RD). So yeah.
Also agreeing with Toujours; it was kind of the reason why I didn't want to watch the series in the first place.Posted January 12th, 2012 at 05:28 PM by Roswell

Most people who claim to not like bronies weren't in reality put off by the show. They were put off by the fans that are so obsessed with the show that they feel the need to push it everywhere. It's starting to die down a bit for the moment though (or at least confine itself to its niche), so that should do a service to the show.Posted January 12th, 2012 at 04:48 PM by Toujours
