    The thing about languages.

We have books and records for a reason, though. We pick up a book on a language we want to learn, and that's the end of that.

It's kind of hard. On the one hand you want everyone to be able to keep their culture and language, but on the other there are pressures to conform to whatever the dominant language of the area is. If you live in a country where your own language is not dominant then your kids are most likely going to learn the dominant one and slowly yours is going to fade away.

Studying a dead language is useful, but I don't think there's a need to revive a dead language unless it's one's personal interest.

Your thread in GE got locked cos well, it didn't actually warrant a thread.

But yeah, I was never aware of this until now.

    Terraformation

Mars doesn't have a magnetic field like Earth. It's what keeps out ozone from being destroyed by cosmic rays, and it's the ozone which helps make life here safe for us.

If we lived on Mars we'd probably have to live underground.

Imagine if after billions of years, the bacteria stemmed from mars' moss growth evolves into some sort of heat resistant underground-dwelling sub species that begins to rival the human race and it becomes an all out battle of the planets: Mars vs Earth?

I wonder how long the sun will last till that happens..

    Terraformation

I believe Mars already has an atmoshpere, though it isn't as dense as Earth's I believe. But, radiation indeed is a problem but it'll search it up later, on my phone right now. Mars does have seasons and it's years is almost as long as Earth's. And the time in Europe is different than that in the USA.

    Terraformation

Wouldnt we need an atmosphere to survive on Mars like on Earth? This sounds like a seriously complicated thing to make happen that would take hundreds of years. Im pretty sure its not simply going to be just like Earth life. Plus wouldnt the time be different because of Mars's Orbit?

Some random crap and my first blog entry

In CIE, I get Physics Written Alternative to Practical and Maths at the same day. It's normal to have more than one exam here.

So you kinda had it easy compared. And I had 3 in one day just last week. But still, glad you got a mini test. And I suppose if it is against the rules there...
Actually it was the same test and it counted as much as it would otherwise only it was called small test instead of big test. >.<

Gratz on your first blog dude, it gets really fun to do but you usually eventually find nothing to write unless something major comes up in your life. That sounds like it really sucks. Some of my friends have to write a physics exam and a calculus exam on the same day.
