I'm moving to Canada.
Health care is the only reason I will never consider moving to the US. I make a lot of use of our health care system and can't even imagine the idea of not having health care available to me for free.
Wait times aren't really much of an issue anyway. If you need a major procedure, you'll get it. Really it's just specialist referrals that take forever... which you wouldn't be able to afford without insurance anyway so I don't see the big deal. :/Posted August 29th, 2011 at 09:58 PM by Lightning

Gotta love the picture. I do see where you're coming from, but with each pro is a con. We have free healthcare, but there are long waiting times. That is, if you come when they are busy. I slept with a cracked wrist (idk why) but when I went to the hospital in the morning, I got admitted at 10:00. Out at 11:30. And that was going to triage, getting x-rays, having another doctor analyze it, and getting a cast put on. But yes, it is nice to not have to pay right out of pocket, especially when you are a college student or below the poverty line.
btw that should go on memebase.Posted August 29th, 2011 at 05:48 PM by Team Fail
