I need songs for karaoke!
So... I ended up doing the following:
'Cry Me A River' by Justin Timberlake (quite well)
'Africa' by Toto (kinda horribly, but oh well!)
'Jolene' by Dolly Parton (easily the best one, which surprised me)
'Wonderwall' by Oasis (although this was everyone singing along at once... but I had the mic so it still counts!)
Thanks for all your suggestions, guys. Great night had.Posted 4 Weeks Ago at 08:30 PM by Mr Cat Dog

Toto - Africa
(Ignore the Lion King video, just giving the lyrics.)
I heard this song every time I went to karaoke. Every time.
Also, might as well do a Disney song:

I need songs for karaoke!
^Oh yeah there's also Maroon 5, Adam's voice is pretty similar to JT's. Older Maroon 5 though not the newer Maroon 5. (though Misery's and Moves Like Jagger's pretty good.)Posted 4 Weeks Ago at 09:45 PM by AWsquared

The voice is somewhat similar to JT and it's a very well known (and utterly lovely!) song :)Posted 4 Weeks Ago at 09:42 PM by AlexOzzyCake

Finding Sydian (or How I learned to lose my Britishness and become a creepy stalker!)
I still enjoy reading this! If only our meeting could have been longer. :( I had planned on taking my phone that morning, but our alarm didn't go off and so I didn't have it, not only that, but I looked like trash because I took no time to put on make up. The initial thought that morning was "WHY DID THE ALARM FAIL ON THE DAY OF THE PARADE"
I feel like we have unfinished business, Jon!Posted January 18th, 2013 at 05:31 AM by Sydian

I Can Has Steemburger?
I'd say Sim City 4 Deluxe Edition, but you've mentioned that your favorite part is more the skyscraper phase of cities, and that takes a little bit of patience with the game and Sim City is far too open-ended to ever be properly "finished" in a traditional sense. It's also not an indie game, being produced by a well-known studio and published in a money-grab fashion by EA.Posted January 14th, 2013 at 01:38 AM by donavannj

I Can Has Steemburger?
Hotline Miami is a pretty awesome indie game if you like movies from the 70/80s that seem like they're on drugs and you have no idea what's happening. Its also damn fun.
Also, post your Steam ID plz :3cPosted January 14th, 2013 at 01:18 AM by DrFuji

I Can Has Steemburger?
It was a couple years ago that videogames got officially recognized as an art form, actually :3
And I really liked that movie, too!Posted January 14th, 2013 at 01:15 AM by Kura

I Can Has Steemburger?
Castle Crashers is an absolute must. It's an amazing game that's even more fun with multiple players and quite a few people here have it so it'll be a good chance to talk to some new people too whilst saving princesses. I highly recommend it :)Posted January 14th, 2013 at 01:09 AM by AlexOzzyCake

Only one recommendation since you said you'd like something in vein of Braid/SMB. :3Posted January 14th, 2013 at 12:14 AM by Derozio

You make me wanna watch the documentary too. Seriously, where did you watch it? I really searched a lot for it back when it was probably new. :B
Totally get Braid and SMB. Braid is a really unique game with some innovative time reversal mechanic usage while SMB is, pretty much, my fave platformer of all time. Also, Fez if it is available on mac.Posted January 14th, 2013 at 12:13 AM by Derozio

EMBLEMS! EMBLEMS! EMBLEMS! (Part 1)
Going on trend with reviving old entries, but is this ongoing? Got confused because of that other 2012 in review thing we have going on too.Posted January 7th, 2013 at 11:50 AM by Kura
