    Luvdisc Exchange! & ART

    Gahh...the Luvdisc Exchange you linked to sounds quite interesting, but I don't think I'll be able to participate... (time constraints and computer technicalities.)

    On another note, I love the artwork you posted. The detail on Luxray's head looks amazing, and Shuckle and Mareep look quite cute! The Shuckle picture looks like it depicts one of those places where you feel like you could just fall asleep blissfully, overtaken by the beauty surrounding you. XD

    *Also, I like the custom Trainer sprite you have in your blog's "header". :cer_nod:

    Absolutely stellar work, you are improving with every piece you make and I adore the way you put these pokemon is such interesting scenery. I noticed a bit of purplekecleon influence in your painting style, which is actually quite neat since I like seeing how an artist has taken inspiration from another. Keep it up.

    Bad art?

    The way I see it, if someone says "this sucks but please concrit!", that is ABSOLUTELY OKAY and encouraged. If you take the time to finish something you thought was crap, obviously you care about it and want to know exactly how to make it better. Maybe you'll even point out your own weak spots and just don't know how to improve so you post it up and ask.

    But if you think something is legitimately bad and you don't care that it's bad, I can't help but assume that you're either posting crack art (which is okay, whatever, lol) or else you're fishing for compliments and you think it's okay but in case someone else thinks differently, you want sort of an escape route. ~_~

    I think lots of my art is bad, but I no longer pay enough attention to visual art which is why I no longer post it around anywhere. :P I think if more people REALLY thought their work was bad but weren't asking for crit, they just wouldn't post it.
