It's about the journey, not the result.

That "regression" is barely even noticeable and you look pretty freaking awesome quite frankly. You shouldn't be hard on yourself over that and anybody who judges you for it is out of their minds.

It's a shame not to see this in the Blog-Off, but I'm glad you got around to posting it still!

Muscle is a use-it-or-lose-it kinda thing, especially for women because testosterone levels are lower, so it's perfectly normal if you're not training as intensely. To be honest though, you look only marginally less ripped around the arms and I'd say that you have pretty much the same figure as you did a year ago. I wouldn't be downhearted if I were you though, because achieving a low body-fat percentage is something that takes an extreme amount of effort and a lot of professionals only maintain their peak physique for a certain amount of time during the year when it really counts so I don't think it's too big of a deal/regression.

What you've done is a great thing! I also have been working out/eating healthier since early May and it can definitely be hard to resist sweets, chips, or staying at home. This story was really refreshing to know that someone I've seen around here a lot has similar challenges. It was a great read and well written, thanks for posting this

Hey, it's great to hear from you and see you around here again. I've been caught up with work myself, and I share many of your goals. Going to the gym, gaining weight, socializing more. I swear I'm getting better with going outside haha. Cheers.

Service charge was added to the bill before we even sat. It's weird, they reserve a table with a number for you.. you have to order, pay, and they just carry it to your table or ring some bell for you to pick it up. Shocking for a restaurant, IMO. Nandos acts more like a fast food chain than anything.

Kura's London Restaurant Review (Part 1)

Last time I've been to the Olive Garden was when I was about 10 years old. Unfortunately, there are no Olive Gardens close by to me that's a viable option to travel to.

But if you want a little list of places (that are chains) I am not a fan of, and that I'd avoid, it now includes this review along with:
Nandos (which I would never visit again because I do not like the concept of seating and serving yourself, yet having to tip???? along with their shockingly all-spicy menu with no -truly- mild option, and horrible chavvy people the place tends to attract.)
And Starbucks because.. well, I'm just not a fan of their coffee at all. Their cakes are alright, but I rather visit a different cafe if given the choice- especially if the choice is an artisan bakery.
That reminds me, I'm not a huge fan of Patisserie Valerie either, even though they market themselves as higher-end.. I've not been that impressed by their cakes. Their coffee was nice at least.

Strawberry: Shall do! For my next review I'll be sure to include those things. :3

I think you covered the restaurant well! Regarding your review, I feel like I've gotten a pretty good idea of what to expect if I ever went there. I especially appreciate how you covered price ranges, seeing as that has become very important nowadays. All in all, I believe your review was very successful, Kura. Good job. :)

What I would like to hear of, however, is the cleanliness of the restaurant. Is the seating comfortable, was everything orderly, were certain areas are "sticky" for lack of better term. How clean the restaurant is can be a big deciding factor for some people.

Also, more pictures that detail what you're discussing would be great. Getting my own visual ques makes me feel like I can still form my own opinion of the establishment.

Be sure to touch on things like; how big was the menu. Are they trying to please everyone? Or does the food reflect theme? There's no point in an Indian restaurant if they serve McNuggets, you know what I mean?

Really happy to see this kind of blogging too. It's refreshing compared to the usual. Please keep it up! :)

    What I want for Christmas!

It's true, Christmas is an anomaly where people break away from the humdrum of their personal lives and just interact a lot more closely. I came here expecting to read a wishlist of things you wanted or details of an adventure you would be going on, but this is good, you have captured the essence of the season well.

I don't know you Kura but you seem pretty assertive to me. Good to hear you're focused on continually improving your life Personally i've never liked New Years Resolutions, to me it seems like something people say in the happiness of the moment and forget once they have to go back to reality. As such I doubt i'm going to have one, because I know I will break it. I'd also get stressed about maintaining an unnatural standard on myself.

Anyway, my Christmas will probably consist of a family dinner like yours with myself, my parents, my sister, perhaps my Grandma and of course the dog, drooling for any delicious scraps A small affair. It will be pleasant enough but i'm sure my father will find some idiotic way to annoy me and ruin the mood. I don't appreciate family very much. After that I would prefer to be left to my own devices, reading books, posting on PC. I don't trust myself to play video games.

For me Pokemon Y is a clear winner. I mean, it's got some ripper exclusives. Pokemon X's exclusives are so...bleh. D:

I'll add that if the charizard forms have you preferring one over the other, the mega stones for them can be also traded, so no worries about being locking into only one of the forms there.

    I went with Y, for the record. Because y not/wynaut. :V

Are any more version exclusives gonna be announced?

I really love Heracross and I'd keep one in my party so I am leaning more towards Y even though initially I liked the X legendary better!
