I think I'll update this more often. I made that last blog post, and then I didn't even touch my Black 2 until I came home from school yesterday and saw that they announced X and Y. I figured, gee, I better beat Iris and catch 'em all before October. So here I am. I made it to Virbank; I avoided two of the trainers on Route 20 and I have a Pidove now.

The medal guy was in the Pokémon Center, so I talked to him and he gave me some medal that I can't remember anymore. I was going through...

A new generation gets announced. Not soon after (or immediately, as of Pokémon Direct) we get the first pictures of the new starter Pokémon. You might get some footage too.

And then you get the knee-jerk reactions.

"The starter designs are horrible"

Sometimes I have to wonder what spurs this reaction. We've gone through this four times already (five if some people didn't like the Johto starters).

Pokemon X and Y and stuff

So, Pokemon X and Y. Gen 6 is upon us. I woke up at 5:45 AM to view Pokemon Direct and it definately was worth waking up for. I liked how Iwata talked about all the previous games, as it felt really nostalgic and enjoyed hearing about the evolution and changes in Pokemon games.

I got excited when he mentioned 3DS and the trailer started. The overworld of the game looks beutiful and amazing, like no Pokemon game ever has been. I loved the graphics and was delighted to see the Pokemon...

*Pretty much headed to Charlotte NC and back home in secret
*Endured 48+hours combined to and from on Greyhound buses
*Stayed more upscale than I usually do - at the Renaissance Charlotte Suites Hotel (nice place but WHY do they charge $12.95/night for internet???)
*Couldn't get into the "Pokemon Game Show" despite cosplaying as Blue/Leaf...
