I forgot to mention that the counselor was really nice.

Also, I'm growing up a little. I'm thinking about my future... learning to drive. This spring seems about like a great time. I want to learn how--because I can't rely on mom and daddy all the time to drive me around. I know it might be harder for me because of my poor motor skills--and maybe having ASP might get slightly in the way, but I won't let it get in the way when I'm behind the wheel! The following may not be suitable to all ages.
The following is suitable for people aged 13 or over.

A bit of background is necessary for this one, as it's my favourite in this burgeoning 'series' of blog posts and a bit of context goes a long way.

At the end of last month, in and around Thanksgiving, I went to the US for just over a week to visit some friends out there (one in New York who is from there originally, the other in Virginia who's doing an internship at NATO for 6 months). I'm lucky enough to have been to NYC a number of times, so have done...
