Who loves Psychology? :D

Despite our increased knowledge about the biological bases for most mental illnesses, there continues to be an enormous stigma in some parts of our society about seeking treatment. Why do you think that is so? (5 points)
Yeeeaah, I've spent half the night writing up various little essays like this one for Psychology, and this is the first that is almost purely opinion. Who wants to help Larry answer his final question that's due in almost exactly one hour? This would have actually made a pretty good...

I almost fell to my death today...

Posted November 3rd, 2010 at 03:39 PM by Buoysel

Okay maybe not to my death, but I wouldn't have walked away unscathed.

I was standing on an elevated platform at work today I took a step towards the edge (which was still 2-3 feet away) when the piece of floor that I was standing on collapsed. I fell 6" before landing on the fire sprinkler line below me... I was saved. Walked away with a heart attack, but no broken bones... Could have been MUCH worse. A 10-12 foot drop on to concrete wold have really hurt.
