WHY CAN PEOPLE NOT TELL THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN "LOSE" and "LOOSE"?

Lose - to not keep track of, to forget the location of

Loose - not tight

They are DIFFERENT MEANINGS. They don't even SOUND the same.

So my grandpa was in the hospital for heart surgery last night, and got released this morning. Well, right before my grandma went to get him, SHE had a heart attack. So now, she's in critical condition. :<
