Importing from Japan costs an arm and a leg??!?

I really want these Zero Bedsheets which have to be preordered to get from a Japanese magazine called LaLa. Someone told me if you buy them in Japan it is like 1500yen or $15! Yet if you need them shipped to the US - it is over $100?? WTF? It could not possibly cost that much!!! It really sucks cause I want the Zero sheets really bad.

I finally have my own blog after a quick donation of twelve American dollars. I also have more pm space so I can handle having an archive for my old pms.

I had two reasons for donating - one was so I didn't have to wait till I got 5,000 posts although I was a little more than halfway there. The second - I feel this community gave me great times when I had a lot of friends here and places to go/clubs to visit.

Well, the weekend was, to say the least, a huge failure. Good for my social life on Saturday, but very bad for NaNo. I didn't get a lot done at all. Today, though, I'm ahead! I finally got an idea of what I wanted to do, and it's going to be amusing, I think. Now, if only I knew how a swordfight worked...
