Will Teach For Money

Well as a lot of you are aware, I'm currently studying to become a teacher... or at least I should be. Truth be told though, six months of this year are going to have equated to exactly zero study due to my university messing things up. During my last study period they lost my enrolment - there goes three months of uni - and this study period they managed to enrol me for the next SP instead of the current one.

This has put in a bit of a predicament.

Post-Performance [Dish #54]

Post-Performance

As many of you likely know at this point (since I haven't shut up about it for so long), this Saturday passed was the day of a fundraising event at my dance studio in which the available members of our competitive team performed show dance numbers as entertainment.

The numbers consisted of a rumba to Ed Sheeran's Thinking Out Loud, performed by one of our team members and his younger sister (his partner was away), a gothic themed New Vogue medley to

So Close to Show Time

So as I have mentioned before, September marks the month that my dance partner and I will debut as a partnership. We've been working very hard and things are coming along quite nicely, so I'm optimistic about the future right now and really hyped to get the show on the road.

Our first competition will be on the 20th of September, a competition that is already set to mark an influx of new couples in our division. I'm really happy to see the field

So, I'm currently going on a bit of quest. I'm going through and listening to every single David Bowie album. To my surprise, there are... a lot. Like way more than I first thought. It's so interesting to listen to some of these and hear songs that I've never heard before. I find myself asking many times, "What was he on when he made this?" haha.

The thing with me is, I never listened to full albums before Bowie. I don't think I'm much of an album person but he opened up...
