Akagi Shigeru [Akagi]
Gambling genius Akagi. He's introduced to the series after winning a game of chicken in which both driver drive towards a cliff. Rather than braking at the last second, he accelerates to get out of the range of the rocks at the bottom, leaving the other to fall into the rocks. He learns Mahjong in a matter of a few hours, and proceeds to beat high ranking members in the Yakuza. He'll cheat without hesitation, and will take of advantage of the pressure everyone feels. He even ends up showing up in a manga called Ten that takes places 23 years after his series, and he remains being a badass up until the end.
