What do you mean? Are you interested in learning about them? Or are you looking to confirm rumors or what? :(

I've read the Koran before. I know that Mecca and Medina are the Holy cities, as well as Jerusalem. Mohammed ascended to heaven in Jerusalem. The Dome of the Rock is built over the remains of the Second Temple. Jesus is regarded as a prophet in Islamic tradition and is mentioned more than Mohammed is. When muslims pray, they face towards Mecca. The pilgrimage all Muslims are supposed to make at least once in their lives in called the Hajj.

On the plus side for Muslims, the Koran is frighteningly scientifically accurate.

From my experiences? Most of the Muslims I've known don't take it seriously. Much like the majority of Christians I know. At least those living in this country (England). I've known a number of Muslims, youngsters and adults. Only noticeable difference was one of my friends said he couldn't eat pork. Maybe it affects their private life, but there's little to no impact on social life.

What I think of Islam? I think it's fine and dandy just like any other personal choice. What I dislike is people twisting it into something it was never meant to be. What I know of it? Nothing beyond the basics.

I know Sunni Muslims take up 98 percent of Turkey's population.

Sunni Muslims make up most of the muslim population in general, the Shi'a is a small percentage. The Sunni's believe the following of Muhammad's close friend after he died, while the Shi'a believe in the following of the blood line, not a friend.

They have 5 pillars they must do to be considered a Muslim: accept Muhammad as their profit, pay money to the needy, pray 5 times a day facing Mecca, fast during Ramadhan (no eating between sun up and sun down), and then going to Mecca once in their lifetime.

I'm not muslim myself, but half my family is. So I know quite a bit about it without actually being apart of it myself (I don't eat pork though).
