Thanks to srinator for tagging me. I've already done a similar interview for Matt's blog, but I don't see the harm of doing this again.
1)What is your name (first, whole, doesn't matter)? If you're uncomfortable disclosing your name, then tell us where your username came from.
My first name is Amanda but I won't disclose my full name. About my username, (how many more times do I have to explain this? lol) it's a clever word play of my last name made to look like an English word 'synergy'.
2)How did you find the Pokecommunity, and why did you join?
I found PC while searching for answers to some Pokemon-related things. I joined because it looked like a really great place to meet new Pokemon fans, and also, I didn't really have people around me whom I can talk about Pokemon with since they mostly think it's a lame and childish game. PC has since been like a getaway for me.
3)What is your current stance on Pokemon, the franchise? Are you still in love with it, or is it something that you consider part of your childhood?
I still love Pokemon. It was part of my childhood, is still part of my life now, and always will be. There have been so many friends and acquaintances that I wouldn't have met if it weren't for Pokemon. I don't think I could ever leave this franchise till my dying days.
4)If you could meet one person from PC in real life, who would that be? Name others if you want, but who is the main person?
This is hard to decide. I don't want to end up making others feel left out like they're not good enough to be met irl and such, so I'm going to name a bunch and take it from there. Jeff Gordon, Danny Hamlin, El Heroe Escuro, Dakota, Sheep, Dragon, Starry Windy, Hikamaru, abnegation, srinator, Marisa.....anyone, really. I'd be extremely happy to meet anyone on this forum.
5)Tell us a little bit about yourself. Not too much, but enough to let us know you a little more. After all, that's the point of this!
I was born and raised in Malaysia. I'm currently studying my second year of psychology and hoping to once again further my education to Australia for my third year. During my free time, I love reading, watching shows, surfing the internet, taking walks, swimming and cycling once in a while, among other things. I find languages interesting and always try picking up words and phrases of foreign languages such as Japanese. I love going to places with scenic spots such as mountains, gardens and beaches. Just being there calms and relaxes me and makes me smile.
6)And lastly, which two people are you going to tag?
