Quick colour test..

So I'm putting together a workflow test for my film.. and decided to do a little colour test. I think I'm going with #5ish at the beginning of the film, and then as Annabelle (my character) gets young again and dances, it becomes more like #3.



Not the final colours.. I'm still going to experiment. That's obviously not the final background either.. I just felt like showing a little bit of what I'm working on since I mention my film around here once in a while. :3

@_@ This weekend shall be busy.. I have to finish up animating and putting the final line down on this scene.. uaahhggnn... *hopes that it's not another late night tomorrow..*

Yeah, I'm majoring in animation. :3
I had to do my first scene this week (this one).. which is where my character steps into the spotlight, looks in awe, takes a breath in and brings her hands and head up. Then she lets a sigh out like she feels all beautiful, but when she does so, she transforms into a younger version of herself (when she used to be a dancer.)

2 looks most offcial, maybe you could make the lady stand out a tad more though, colourwise.

Yeah I know what you mean.. like contrast-wise with hues :3 I'm still experimenting with different hair/ clothes colours, but this was just how the mood might look with the help of some photo-filters and whatnot :3

Nice soft palettes, whilst highlighting the warm pleasing colours (such as the feather) would go down well I think :]

I agree.. since the feather-headdress is really important to my film, haha.. (It's basically what sparks her memory of being young and dancing) so having it be the most vibrant thing on screen at first is kinda where I was heading. :33 Thanks for the feedback <3
