if you aren't using Life Orb Gengar then you need to reassess your life

I absolutely love Gengar now. Currently running it holding Life Orb with Timid nature, 252 SpA/4 SpD/252 Spe and the following moves: Shadow Ball, Sludge Bomb, Thunderbolt and Focus Blast. It pretty much OHKOs almost everything that's not too bulky or doesn't resist its moves and 2HKOs everything else. The only problem is that it takes huge damage from anything that's neutral or stronger, so if it's outsped, it's screwed.

Another Pokemon worth an honourable mention is Sylveon. Currently running it with Bold nature, 252 HP/252 Def/4 SpD and the moves Substitute, Calm Mind, Moonblast and Shadow Ball. It should be holding Leftovers, but I gave that to my Vaporeon, so I don't know what to give it now. Any tips? :D

Since I'm already blogging, I may as well talk about what happened to day since all of you care so much. I had a job orientation at The Royal Women's Hospital, where I was hired as a casual pharmacy student (woo~), then went to EB Games where I battled a couple of people, followed by a wonderful interview at McDonalds~ I also had a long conversation on the bus ride home with this guy. Noticed that he had a Pokemon X/Y limited edition 3DS XL and a Waluigi hat and knew that we'd get along. We did.

It's kinda sad that this was the most fun I've had in 2 weeks. Summer holidays can be so boring.

lo gar is great, but megagar is pretty disappointing, only wish it could trap on the turn it mega evolves.

Oh nice I'm actually running the exact same Sylveon set only 252 Sp.Def. I want to find a way to make better use of Pixelate though. I tried Hyper Beam for all of 10 minutes because lol.
