And you thought my Buick rants were done :P

Then: Buick Roadmaster Estate Wagon:

Now: Buick Enclave:

The Enclave was Buick's first step at reinventing its image (with the 2010 LaCrosse being the second) which has me concerned. Oldsmobile tried to reinvent its image in the late '90's, and guess where it is now. Yup, dead. In any event, I'm not a fan of crossover vehicles in general. As well as the Enclave might perform in automotive review tests, it isn't for me. For starters, it lacks two things that the Roadmaster Estate has in abundance: beauty and elegance. And those qualities seem to be lacking in most contemporary vehicles, sadly. With that said, I might consider buying an Enclave if I ever needed seven-passenger seating - it is, IMO, the best of the crossovers, and since the Roadmaster has been dead since 1996...

Sadly, the Enclave's looks would likely NOT benefit from the faux wood side treatment that suits the Estate Wagon so perfectly.

See what I mean? XD

And if you really want to go old-school, here is the 1977-1990 Estate Wagon (sometimes sold under the LeSabre and Electra names):

Until next time!

P.S. I'm not even going to go into how similar "Enclave" and "Canalave" sound XD

Wow, I really dislike the older models. D: Never have found them attractive in any way. 2010 Enclave ftw.

I have a friend who works at a dearship, he says that the Enclaves are a total pain in the ass to change the oil on.

I actually like the look of the 2010 Enclave, but yeah wouldn't look good with the faux wood side treatment like the Roadmaster. XD
