Convos with friends made me choose this song. Also this gif.

Interesting advertising strategy there SEGA

Anyways this is another Saniks song (Sonic Adventure 2: Battle to be specific) because that game has so much good music it'd be a shame to not harp on about it again. The theme here is from the Green Forest stage and is pretty fitting for the mood and situation. After all in this stage of the game you only need to get off a island on a timer limit because apparently it BLOWS UP!? Good old sonic game plots.

Alternate link!

My alternate title for the song is Guitar Solo the song, because that's pretty much it. But a song which is all guitar solo (and drums) is still a guitar solo song! The official song title is 'Won't Stop, Just go!' which I suppose is also fitting. Especially for good Sanik games!

It has a very nice song intro with the drums which sets up the mood for the level. The solo itself doesn't do much that I'd call amazing (just quite good), but it keeps up the pace and with enough variation throughout to not sound boring when you're playing (and it's decent without too!). (Case in point, the above is just one loop of the song; over two minutes is not bad with that! Although admittedly it's not far from being a repeat anyways.) Plus it has some bass underneath it all which adds to the tune.

It's probably also be a good song to play if you're late for a bus or something, I bet. As it serves its role well it's one (of the many) that I like.

Was that friend Blade by any chance? ;p

This song is a great representation of Sonic music, it has the exact feeling you need from such a fast-paced and energetic game without being too overpowering so you lose concentration. From a non-gaming point of view it's a little repetitive, but what else would you expect from a level music track haha. Otherwise it's a great song and I especially love the subtle bass solos. Good choice!

Nope! As said by Bay it was with someone else.

Yeah, I suppose it is a good example of it. Thankfully sonic music has mostly been good over the years.

It's also a better choice than the timer music. That tune when you're about to drown, that is... that'd just worry you to heck. @_@
