Oh, we'll ride upon the sea, in a boat, just you and me!

Yeah, so I was four weeks gone, sailing with my parents to London. And I had a great time there. But the trip didn't went flawless....

At the end of the first week, we had fueled the tank of our boat and continued our travel. However, after a few hours, the tank was empty. And it's damn impossible that 100 liter fuel is used in a few hours. Lucky we had some little tanks with a bit fuel for the cases we need it, like now....

The next day was even stranger. We refueled the tank, and continued our trip. We were literally just out the harbor and the engine stopped working. But the tank was not empty. No, instead, the tank was full of water. We were lucky we were still close to the harbor, so we could return quickly and fix everything. We still don't the cause of this and the empty tank...

Halfway the second week we were in a fine place of France, ready to cross the sea to England. However, that day it was predicted that it would storm at sea.... Even though I warned my parents to NOT to cross the sea, they still were stupid to trying to cross.... Well, it really didn't well. The boat was shaking and jumping everywhere, and man, we got sick of it. And then something very bad happened.... The anchor shook loose and fell in the water, with the chain still connecting the anchor to the boat and just getting longer and longer.... It was almost a no-go at getting the anchor back on the boat with this storm. But lucky enough we got it back on boat. And we were indeed lucky, since this was the first (and only!) time we didn't had the tools with us to cut the chain of the anchor.
After that, we immediately returned to France, waiting for the storm to subside....

The next day it seemed that the storm was gone, so we tried to cross again. And it went well, with a lot of sun.
And so we arrived in Ramsgate, England.... We went in the town, and it suddenly started to rain. I guess we arrived just in time. So we just went in a pub, and man, I've become drunk like I've never been before. My parents almost had to carry me back to the boat. Almost.

Well, the next day we went to the Thames, overnighted in front of it and continued our trip the next day. We arrived in London, and I was kinda surprised in the strange, yet fitting mixed of (very) old and modern buildings together. And then I saw it, something I always wanted to see from close....

Spoiler:

It was amazing to see it. It was also awesome that we were in a harbor right next to the London Bridge.

Well, it's too much to tell what I've done in London, so I make it quick....

I've seen the Big Ben, too:
Spoiler:

The only thing I hated from London:
Spoiler:

It simply doesn't fit the city... It looks very weird....

I also went in the London Tower. All that gold and jewels..... Especially that big bowl of pure gold.... Too bad I wasn't allowed to make photo's there.... And I sadly haven't seen everything of the London Tower, it was too big to see everything at once.

The only reason I went in the Soho district was because of the delicious Peking Duck. Otherwise I wished I wasn't there.... And I suggest to stay out of it to everyone who wants/is going to London. Unless you have a perverted mind.....

Believe it or not, but for me, the most awesome thing was the Underground Subway. Why? Well, simply because most stuff in movies are exaggerated from real life, so I thought the Underground Subway of London was exaggerated in the movies too. But it's not. It's exact the same as in the movies. The design, the sound, the commercials, the huge amount of people at busy hours, the atmosphere, even the light flickering off sometimes is real. I just loved it.

Well, that's about it. The trip back went almost flawless. VERY almost. But it's a minor thing, so it isn't that bad at all.

Well, sadly I'm back home, but I'm also happy I can be active on PC again. But if I ever get the change to go to London again, then I surely won't hesitate and take the opportunity. I haven't seen everything of London, and I just want to see the rest of it.

Ooh, that's sounds fun!

You got wasted?! xD Oh my gosh, that's hilarious!

In this state I could drink alcohol at any age if my parents allowed me and were with me, but my dad wouldn't go for that anyway. xD

Just don't get addicted at a young age, Wave.

Heh, I guess I'm lucky to live in London, and yeah, the weather didnt looks great, it was way better when I went there for a day trip a while ago. I agree, the London Eye does look very weird... But, it does let you see EVERYTHING in London. I would like to warn you about Buckingham Palace though, when I went there IT WAS HAVING RENOVATIONS DONE, AND THE WALLS ARE DIRTY, IT WAS HORRIBLE! Though, the lamp posts were crowned... Heh.
