I can't stand her (as in Britney Shears-- I mean, Spears) anymore. I can't even LISTEN to mainstream music anymore. It's like...it's just getting too much for me. I feel a need to listen to something different from everyone else. I think I'm going to convert to listening to rock. It's so much deeper and more meaningful. In fact, not just any rock. I'm going to listen to Japanese Rock. I don't actually speak Japanese, but that doesn't mean that I can't enjoy the deeper meaning. Just look at this line from a Japanese Rock song:
"Cry yai yai yai yai yai?"

How deep. That strategic placement of the question mark at the end makes the line so much more meaningful. How? I'm not sure, I don't speak Japanese. I'm not exactly sure what this line means in Japanese either, but it must be full of meaning. There's another line from a different song that I would like to bring to your attention:
ah ah ah ah ah
This particular like caught my eyes, or rather, my ears with its beauty. I absolutely love it.

Japanese Rock, or more succinctly, J-rock, is like an angel descending into my life, which has been shrouded in darkness. I love it, and I want to propagate it across to everyone else out there who has fallen for the illusory charms of mainstream music. J-rock is infinitely better than mainstream music.

Thank you for your time. :)

Erm. Well, I will agree with you that J-Rock is better than most mainstream music, but isn't it being a little judgemental to swear off mainstream music simply because that's what it is?

Oh, wait. You were being sarcastic. I didn't notice. At all. No way. I totally didn't just feel like humouring you. And now I'm second-guessing myself. Either you're dissing mainstream or you're dissing J-Rock and GODDAMNIT IF I'M NOT TOO TIRED TO WORK OUT WHICH. @_@

fffff

Anyway, stop it.

Well.. music is supposed to surpass language barriers. So.. just because you can't understand their words, doesn't mean you can't still feel the music, and enjoy it's sound. Just sayin'. xD

Katy Perry's songs must be inspired by jrock... I think they all feature those lyrics.

Anyway jrock is mainstream elsewhere (....Japan) so really its the same label-generated stuff as any other country. Just in a diff language so I lol when people say one is way better than another.

No, I'm not being sarcastic. I really do love J-Rock as well as the deep and meaningful lyrics it puts forth. I can understand, Lightning, that J-Rock is mainstream in Japan, but I'm not in Japan right now, so it's not mainstream for me. Besides, Japanese people are more superior than white people, therefore, their mainstream music is more meaningful.

btw if you didn't realise this bit got hacked

...I am so confused right now. @_@

I should go to bed, because it is extremely hard to detect sarcasm on the internet and this blog entry is making MY HEAD SPIN.

Caleb, don't pin the blame on others just because you don't like mainstream. Ugh, the nerve of some people.
